800Vdc (HVS1) High Voltage Power Supply TESLA

High voltage power supplies (HVS1) are installed in the USA15 shielded cavern together with HPS1 200Vdc power supplies for LVPS. The HPS1 crate contains 16 HV channels with Vout that can be set to -830V or -950Vdc (output current maximum is 20mA). Each channel has its own Under Current, Over Current, Over Voltage, and Under Voltage protections. Each HVS1 crate with 16 HV channels will supply 16 TileCal drawers. In total 16 HVS1 crates will be operational in the USA15 ATLAS shielded cavern in order to supply dc high voltage for 256 drawers.
